Upper School Music and Performing Arts

Meet Kevin Archibald and some of the 7th to 12th grade student body!
Introducing Kevin Archibald
Kevin holds a BA in Education and Minor in Theology from Bluewater Bible College and
studied art and graphic design at Bob Jones University. He currently works
at the Frederiksted Baptist Church as Choir Director and Head Musician, teaching music, piano and drums to teenagers.
Kevin Says:
"My vision for the Art/Music department of The Manor School entails not just ordinary art
and music, but rather a collaboration of dramatic representations, singing, poetry, musicals, and expressive dancing. Music was created by
God. Everything that was created in the world is a masterpiece of beauty; just look around you! I truly believe that idle hands most of the
time get into mischief. If we, therefore, both educate and allow young people to express themselves in a way that builds their ego and allows
them to connect with who they are, and portray their many talents in even new areas, it might aid in the development of better moral and positive
attitudes in these children. In the future we hope to display some of the talents openly at public events which promote the school and the
positiveness it represents."

This project is funded in part by
Virgin Islands
Council on the Arts
and the National Endowment for the Arts.
